Darko Rajaković had been given a $25,000 Fine for Complaining About the Referees in Lakers-Raptors Game. The NBA has decided to fine Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković $25,000 for publicly criticizing officials.

Rajaković’s complaints about the 132-131 loss last Tuesday are certainly still fresh in the fans’ minds.

The coach laid out his honest thoughts in a press conference. Everyone could see how enraged he was regarding the ‘rigged’ calls of the referees in the Los Angeles Lakers vs Raptors game.

“That’s outrageous; what happened to us tonight, this is completely b.s. This is shame. Shame for the referees, shame for the league to allow this. 23 free throws for them and we get two free throws in the fourth quarter? … I understand respect for All-Stars and all of that but we have star players on our team as well.”

Rajaković even went as far as saying that his team shouldn’t have shown up for the games if they knew it was going to be called in the Lakers’ favor.

What exactly happened?

In short, many think that the referees have been unfair with how they gave 36 free throws to the Lakers and only 13 to the Raptors.

Scottie Barnes managed to get only two free throws in the fourth quarter, while Los Angeles managed to get 23.

Journalists asked if Rajaković managed to get any explanations, but the coach furiously said no.

“There is no explanation; they just see what they want to see. They don’t want to hear us, what we have to say. They don’t want to hear the players.”
